This week, the Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team has responded to six call-outs, demonstrating their commitment to coastal safety.
On Thursday, August 29th, they handled two simultaneous incidents—one involving a missing person at Fistral Beach, who was fortunately found safe, and another assisting with a casualty on Tolcarne Beach, ensuring the individual was safely transported to the hospital.
Earlier that day, the team was called out at 2:32 AM to assist with an incident on the Barrowfields, and the day before, they provided crucial support in a rescue at Porth Beach.
With six tasks completed this week, the team urges the public to dial 999 and ask for the coastguard if they see anyone in danger along the coast.
