Alright, Newquay!
I hope you’ve had a great bank holiday weekend so far. I’ve spent the weekend playing dodge the rain. So far I’ve lost every day. I think I need to start wearing a wetsuit everywhere. Even in town. Wouldn’t be cool but at least it would keep me warm.

Just in case you’ve been away this bank holiday weekend I thought it would be worth reposting what happened last week.
Francines had to close due to a fire. They put this post up on their page…
Just to let everyone know that Francines Newquay will be closed until further notice due to a fire on our frying range. All the staff and customers are OK. We apologise for this inconvenience and we will keep everyone updated about when we reopen.
What was great was seeing support from one of its competitors. That’s true community spirit! This was a reply sent by Flounders Chippy…
Tried to private message but it won't let us. Truly sorry to hear this, it could have been any one of us. 😔 If we can help in any way at all or lend you absolutely anything to get you open again for Easter please don't hesitate to ask. Its just the worst nightmare for our type of business, thinking of you guys.💜

Starting at 5am some days to set up the store bakery for the day or finishing at 11pm on others to close the store and ensure the store is ready for another day of customers, you'll keep moving and keep business booming.
Every day is different, so you won't just be working deliveries or working on the till; you'll be doing all of it and more. You could even train to be a freshness specialist, non-food specialist or a bakery specialist. It's your hard graft that puts food onto dinner tables and keeps our customers coming back.
