Wine Escape Scam
Locals were left £65 out of pocket as a Wine Escape-themed evening turned out to be a scam.
Cherry Tree Productions advertised the night of Saturday the 20th at the Atlantic Hotel.
However, the hotel was not even aware of the event.
Here’s where things get juicy…
The director is Rebecca Jayne Dignon who is also the director of a 3rd company called Flix24 Limited.
No big deal, except that the registered address for that company is 8 Bank Street in Newquay, the former home of Palm Bay café.
To top it off, Flix24 Limited was incorporated only 9 days ago on April 13th. 🤔
