So it’s been a day since the traffic lights were moved from Treninnick Hill. I almost feel a bit lost in the ‘avoid the Newquay traffic lights game’ has just got a lot easier.

Newquay Coastguards save a dog who fell off a cliff

Earlier in the week Newquay Coastguards helped save a dog who had gone over the edge of a cliff up at Mother Iveys Bay.

As you can see the dog was rescued uninjured and reunited with its owner.

The moral of this story is to keep your dogs on a lead when walking along the South West Coast path. There are so many hidden drop-offs, that it’s not worth the risk.
