Good Morning,
So my wife made me sandwiches this morning, and halfway through, I started to think… this tastes like dirt.
Turns out the bottom of the bread supports Ireland. So green and mouldy. 🤮
It reminded me of this story…
In 1928 Dr Alexander Fleming returned from a holiday to find mould growing on a Petri dish of Staphylococcus bacteria.
He noticed the mould was preventing the bacteria around it from growing. He soon identified that the mould produced a self-defence chemical that could kill bacteria.
He named the substance penicillin.

Yesterday Cornwall Council released a Press Statement about Newquay Airport.
What caught my eye was this sentence…
The Council have also committed to providing insight into the Red Lines outlined in the Airport Strategic Review to satisfy the desire from businesses that any partnership with the private sector will be predicated on growth of the airport, maintaining regular routes to and from major cities in the UK and beyond and the continuation of the specialist management by Cornwall Airport Limited which runs the airport on behalf of Cornwall Council.
In case that reads like gobbledegook, here are the 3 main requirements for whoever takes over the airport…
Growing the airport
Keeping regular flights to major UK and international cities
Continuing the current specialized management of the airport
