September 17 - Council want Trencreek crossing closed

Good Morning,

So it turns out I’ve got gout in my right toe.

Personally, I think it’s broken, but whatever, I'm not going to argue with MIU.

At least the fat gammy toe is still attached to my foot, which is a positive.

But I have felt a little depressed.

60% is from the pain, and I think the other 30% is from the painkillers I’ve taken.

The last 10% is me trying not to lose my mind.

So it’s got me thinking…

If you’re at home alone feeling depressed and have no one to talk to, send me a message.

- Joe

Council want Trencreek crossing closed

Thank you to Radio Newquay for originally sharing this story.

Cormac on behalf of Cornwall Council is inviting comments on a proposal to install new "No waiting at any times" and a “Prohibition of Motor Vehicles" across the level crossings at Trencreek and Chapel, Newquay.

The proposals include new "No waiting at any time restrictions," Double yellow lines, on Trencreek Road, Carpmael Avenue and Crossing Mews to create an area for vehicles to turn around whilst travelling on Trencreek Road.

Proposals also include installing new "No waiting at any time restrictions" Double yellow lines on the south side of the level crossing of Chapel Road Farm/Field Entrance to create an area for vehicles to turn around while travelling on Chapel Road.

Proposal Ends on the 4th of October.

You can read it here.

P.S. The headline is a little clickbaity BUT I’ve heard from various people in this industry that they plan to close this road permanently once the link road is open.

Doctor, I keep seeing an insect buzzing around.
Don’t worry, that’s just a bug going around.
