Good Morning,
Something I think a lot about when starting something new is this…
Ed Sheeran often uses the analogy of turning on a tap to describe the creative process of songwriting. The quote goes something like this:
"It’s like when you turn a tap on in an old house, the first stuff you get out is just the dirty water, but let it flow for a bit and eventually, you get the clean water.
That’s the way I think about writing songs: you have to write the bad ones to get to the good ones."
This metaphor emphasises the importance of persistence in creativity.
So whatever it is you’re trying to do, don’t quit!

We’re having our Open Day on the 27th August where you can meet local firefighters, see the fire appliances and watch demonstrations, enjoy our BBQ and cake stall and have lots of fun activities.
We are raising money for the #firefighterscharity and #britishlegion, so come along and support these great charities.
