July 15 - Fireworks mistaken for emergency flare
Good Morning,
Not sure what to say today. I think everyone feels a bit down. 🥲
I've learned over the years that even if England had won, I'd only feel happy for a few days. It wouldn't change my life.
My mindset is to 'not let outside things affect my mood'.
It doesn't always work, though. That's when a couple of shots of sloe gin help! 😆

Fireworks mistaken for emergency flare
This is why you shouldn’t let fireworks off on the coast.
Last night at 2209hrs Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to reports of a possible flare in the Little Fistral area. Upon arrival it became apparent that this had been a firework and after a rapid search of the area the team were stood down.
This was a well intentioned false alarm and the public did the right thing in calling the coastguard. If you see anything suspicious or someone in difficulty along the coast, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.
