New November festival for Newquay

A new month-long festival has been announced for Newquay this autumn, celebrating the town’s creative spirit.

The Be Newquay Festival will run throughout November, comprised of activities and workshops showcasing the town’s vibrant way of life and unique culture.

Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and managed by Cornwall Council, the festival has been designed “with community at its heart.”

The first wave of commissions to be announced as part of the programme include street art murals led by Slapdash Studio, light displays at Trenance Heritage Cottages and Garden Cafe, and a winter arts programme from ALMA Artspace CIC.
