October 10 - Elle Koziupa the 20-year-old Street Artist
Good Morning,
Thinking about money vs time got me thinking about ‘bucket lists.
Bucket lists are things you’d like to do, but deep down, you know you’ll never get around to doing!
So let’s change that! Take 1 of those things on your list and get it planned out and booked!
Most people have ‘visit New York’ on that list.
Here’s how I’d do it…
I’d start by just booking the flights today. (Jan-March are the cheapest months and fly mid-week). You can find them for under £300 for a 4-day visit in March on skyscanner.net
Then, I’d go to a site like agoda.com or booking.com and filter for hotels that accept ‘payment on arrival’.
Let’s say the budget is £100 a night. You have 5 months from today to save £400.
But what about spending money you ask?
Central Park is free. The 56 museums in New York are free!
NO EXCUSES!

Elle Koziupa the 20-year-old Street Artist
Last week I said I’d feature the girl who drew the mural of the fisherman. So here it is:
Elle Koziupa has a portfolio behind her that would be the envy of someone twice her age.
After completing her A-levels, she started working as an apprentice but quickly became a fully-fledged artist, working on projects with global brands such as Burberry and the Moncler x Adidas campaign.
She is now part of the Global Street Art team, which describes its work as “transcending traditional canvases.” The organisation has created more than 500 murals nationally.
Elle, who worked on the fisherman's face, which we all now know, used a combination of spray paint and hand painting to create her murals, with the help of scaffolding boards to enable her to get close up.
She described her work as having a “Renaissance-inspired aesthetic” and hoped it would start a dialogue between art and the community.
Below is another one of her masterpieces.
