One thing I am trying to improve about this newsletter is naming local businesses and events that are not on my radar.

When you have children, you tend to go to the same child-friendly places. So, if you can think of anything that should be featured, send me a message.

The goal of the newsletter is for it to be fun but also help showcase local businesses.

Newquay Golf Course refurbished

One of the most iconic locations in Newquay has been undergoing renovations over the past couple of weeks.

If you're not a golfer, you might not be aware that this golf course is one of the few in Cornwall that remains playable even after bad weather.

Last week saw lots of changes on the course and it is heading towards completion this week.

Fantastic work from @gwturf @marcuspower4 and Sam working on the @ecobunker installations, a process that is going to elevate the look and playability of the course.

The work carried out by Lauren Smith on the digger , particularly the area around the 8th tees, is nothing short of amazing
