It feels like the 10th time this year the coastguards have been called out to the Barrowfields.
Not sure what’s changed but I swear it never used to be like that.
Tasking #143 Tuesday 29th October 2024.
This afternoon at 1558hrs Newquay Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to assist Devon & Cornwall Police with an incident near The Barrowfields.
After a search of the area the team were stood down pending further enquiries.
If you see someone in difficulty along the coast, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.
