South West Water Roadshow in Newquay

South West Water has invited its customers in Newquay and Crantock to its Community Roadshow where they can ask questions to a team of experts.

It will take place this morning, September 10, from 12pm to 4pm at Mount Wise Community Centre.

The water company will be hosting its market-stall setup event to discuss planned investments, water resources, and efforts to reduce storm overflow use.

As part of a wider £2.8 billion investment across the region, South West Water is investing nearly £800,000 in Newquay and Crantock.

This investment will be focused on some of the area's beaches.

Planned work will increase storm storage and improve local pumping stations
