Two children saved at Porth Beach

Two children were saved after being dragged out to sea by the river at Porth Beach.

Jason Walsh is being praised for paddling 200 metres to save the youngsters.

The RNLI reports that the children entered the water by the headland at high tide on Friday morning and were immediately taken out to sea, causing them to scream and panic.

Using a rescue board, Jason brought them safely back to shore, where they were reunited with their parents.
