Good Morning, Newquay!
Julie Rudd has asked me to pass along this message...
I was rushing to catch a bus when I twisted my ankle on the cobbles.
I would like give big thanks to at least 10 people who stopped to offer their help. And to one man who helped my husband lift me back on my feet.
The following day I went to the NHS small injuries clinic, the efficient and kind service I received was amazing.
If you’re one of those 10 people then I salute you. 🤗

Woman saved at Whipsiderry Cliffs
On Monday night Emergency crews in Cornwall spent almost 3 hours retrieving a lady who had become stuck on the cliffs at Whipsy.
“The casualty was eventually safely retrieved via rope rescue and handed over to the ambulance service. Thank you to all assets involved for all your help & assistance.
“Newquay team were back at base and ready for retasking by approx 0045hrs. If you see someone in difficulty along the coast, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard. Stay safe.”
